The KS98+ controller consists of a KS98+ in combination with a slave I/O unit.
The KS98 is equipped with a Profibus DP-interface for interfacing to a supervisory PLC and a CANopen bus interface for interfacing with slave I/O units (RM modules).
For this application the next RM-modules are used :
RM 212 : Base module 5 positions
RM 201 : Bus coupler CANopen (for communication with KS98)
RM 242 : 8-fold digital input module 24Vdc
RM 252 : 4-fold digital output module relay
RM 231-0 : 4-fold analog output module I/U (0/4 .. 20mA / 0…10V)
RM 224-0 : 4 fold analog input module thermocouples
