广东省金之光雕刻工艺厂位于粤东沿海风景秀丽的沿海小镇。生产中国传统工艺品：贝雕工艺品。30年来培养了一批设计、画工、雕工良匠。产品有：贝雕画屏、贝雕挂幅、贝雕座景、鱼缸木座等。产品题材广泛，有人物、花鸟、山水、博古等。采用深海贝壳为原料制作的工艺品质地润厚、晶莹亮泽、光彩夺目，没有淡水贝类产品轻薄易碎的缺点。
本厂工艺传承祖辈技术，历史悠久。早在宋朝末年，南宋最后一位皇帝宋帝昺流亡本镇，本镇居民助帝抗元，虽遭失败，但宋帝昺带来的宫廷工艺却散落在民间。我厂祖辈从此开始了模仿宫廷工艺的贝雕艺术创作。
本厂采用的贝壳原料为当地渔民从深海打捞上来的贝类原料。有相当一部分的当地渔民以采集贝类产品供应本厂为生。本厂与当地渔民互为依存，生生不息。故本厂的优质原料来源有着别的厂家无法取替的**优势。
本厂画工，雕工等同事有些是终身服务于本厂，年纪较大的一位老同事黄天先生已于本厂服务48年，把整个人生都献给了艺术。借此地方，向我们这位老先生致以较崇高的敬意。故本厂的艺术创作资源有着别的厂家无法取替的**优势。

Company Profile
Guangdong Golden Light Carving Factory, situated in a beautiful small coastal town of east Guangdong, is dedicated in the production of traditional Chinese carving of shells. For over 30 years, we have cultivated a group of craftsman specializing in designing, painting or carving. Our products, ranging from shell screen, shell hanging, shell standing and wood supporter for fish jar, are diversified in content topics including people, flower, bird, mountain, water and antique. The fine shells, obtained from deep sea, ensure our craftworks’ soft texture and brilliant color, without the defaults of thinness and lightness in fresh water shells.
The craft of our factory, long in history, is passed down from ancestors. As early as in the Song dynasty (960－1279 AD), the last emperor of Song, Zhao Bing, went to this small town in exile. Local residents helped Zhao Bing to resist the new dynasty of Yuan. Though the resistance effort failed, yet the royal crafts were scattered among the local people. From that time on, our ancestors began to make the royal craftwork of shell carving.
The materials we adopt are original shells obtained from deep seas by local fishermen. Quite a number of local fishermen make their livings by providing us sea shells. We and the fishermen are interdependent to each other for generations. Therefore our stable source of fine shells is an absolute advantage that other factories cannot equal, marking a difference with our competitors.
Some of the painters and carvers have been serving our factory for life. The oldest one is Mr. Huang, who has worked for us for 48 years and devoted his whole life to arts and crafts. Taking advantage of this opportunity, we would like to send this old colleague our best regards. The art resource in our factory is unmatchable.
