Woodward designs brushless DC motors for aerospace and defense motion control applications and developments in the industry. Woodward's brushless DC motor (BLDC) originally came from our AC motor line. Woodward has been producing brushless DC motors for important aerospace and defense applications for more than 30 years.
Dimensions and capacity
The Woodward 2301D-ST is microprocessor based with internal software designed specifically for single-valve steam turbine control. In order to facilitate the replacement of the controller, the arrangement of wiring ports of 2301D-ST is basically the same as that of 2301A controller. 2301D-ST controller can complete the core control of small steam turbine system. Its internal application software is field programmable to accommodate different configuration needs. Due to the enhanced function, the 2301D-ST has more input/output ports than the 2301A, and is equipped with a communication serial port, which greatly facilitates the communication between the controller and PLC or DCS control system.
The woodward2301D and 2301d-ec are based on microprocessor control and have the same functions as the 2301ALSSC: load distribution and speed control. The computer is connected to 2301D and 2301D-EC controllers through a 9-pin serial plug (RS232 port).

Woodward CPC (8901-457), a 4-20mA control signal is linearly proportional to the oil pressure output. The Woodward CPC is compatible with many electronic controls, such as the Woodward 505E controller. It is suitable for pressure servo system or single acting power cylinder. The Woodward5009 fault tolerant controller is designed for critical turbine controls that require high reliability. It can be configured for pure coagulation, back pressure or single pump/feed turbine applications. The 5009's CPU and I/O(TMR) are triple-redundant to meet the reliability requirements of the industrial turbine market. 500 is in place programmable mode, using menu-type software to guide engineers to program for power generation or mechanical driven applications. 5009 can work independently or in combination with factory DCS.
