Polycarbonate (PC) has good mechanical properties and good creep resistance, which is better than that of phthalamide and paraformaldehyde. Especially, PC modified by glass fiber has better creep resistance, so it can bear higher load at higher temperature and ensure dimensional stability. The main shortcomings of polycarbonate mechanical properties are easy to produce stress cracking, poor fatigue resistance, high notch sensitivity, no wear resistance and so on. PC has good high and low temperature resistance, good heat resistance at 120 ℃, and hot deformation temperature of 130 ~ 140 ℃. At the same time, it has good cold resistance, brittleness temperature is - 100 ℃, long-term service temperature is - 70 ~ 120 ℃. Moreover, its thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity are not high, its linear expansion coefficient is small, its flame retardancy is good, and it has self extinguishing property.
