Moreover, its thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity are not high, its linear expansion coefficient is small, its flame retardancy is good, and it has self extinguishing property. As a weak polar polymer, PC has better electrical insulation although its electrical insulation is not as good as that of polyolefins. Because of its high glass transition temperature and low hygroscopicity, it can maintain good electrical properties under wide temperature and humidity conditions
