Pei plate is an amorphous plastic. It is a kind of amorphous high-performance polymer. It is made of engineering plastics made of amorphous Pei (polyether imide) by high-temperature extrusion of extruder. China Plastics
The long-term creep resistance of Pei (polyetherimide) under high temperature and stress allows it to replace metals and other materials in many structural devices. It has good electrical properties under variable temperature, humidity and frequency. The low loss factor at GHz makes polyetherimide have high microwave wearability. Its ionic pollutants are of low level, and its conductivity is more than 20 megohm at 250 f R.H. and 207 kPa for 120 hours. It can be used as an insulating material for electronic sensor components.
PEI具有很强的高温稳定性，即使是非增强型的PEI，仍具有很好的韧性和强度。因此利用PEI优越的热稳定性可用来制作高温耐热器件。具有优良的机械性能、电绝缘性能、耐辐照性能、耐高低温及耐磨性能，并可透过微波。PEI还有良好的阻燃性、抗化学反应以及电绝缘特性。玻璃化转化温度很高，达215℃。PEI还具有很低的收缩率及良好的等方向机械特性。加入玻璃纤维、碳纤维或其他填料可达到增强改性的目的；也可和其它工程塑料组成耐热高分子合金，可在-160～180℃的工作温度下长期使用。
聚醚酰在高温和应力下的长期抗蠕变性允许其在许多结构设备中代替金属和其它材料。在可变温度、湿气和频率条件下表现出很好的电性能。在GHz频率下的低损耗因数使聚醚酰具有高的微波可穿性。它的离子型污染物低水准，在 250F R． H．和207kPa下120小时用水提取后的导电率，在20兆欧以上，它可用作电子传感器元件的绝缘材料。
