This part of EN 60695 specifies a small-scale laboratory screening procedure for comparing the relative burning behaviour of vertically or horizontally oriented specimens made from plastic and other non-metallic materials, exposed to a small-flame ignition source of 50W nominal power.

两种测试方法:

Test method A –Horizontal burning test 水平燃烧测试方法，根据样品的水平燃烧情况来评定HB,HB40 or HB75

Test method B–Vertical burning test 垂直燃烧测试方法，根据样品的垂直燃烧情况来评定V-0,V-1or V-2等级。
