The VP-5520A（B） has a vertical amplifier circuit which permits a dual-trace display in such a wide-band of from DC to 200 MHz. The sensitivity range is from 2 mV/DIV to 12. 5 V/DIV. and by connecting channels 1 and 2 in cascade it can be increased to a high vertical deflection factor of 400 μV/DIV. The trigger circuit operates stably in the entire frequency range of measurement and has an auto trigger facility. The sweep time is wide in range of from 2 nsec/DIV to 1.25 sec/DIV, and a delayed sweep feature of the trigger circuit increases measurement accuracy. The instrument can also serve as a precise X-Y oscilloscope or triple-trace oscilloscope with the third trace to view a trigger ** in the display.
