DESCRIPTION 
The 74HC4052 and 74HCT4052 are high-speed Si-gateCMOS devices and are pin compatible with the HEF4052B.TheyarespecifiedincompliancewithJEDECstandard no. 7A. 
The 74HC4052 and 74HCT4052 are dual 4-channel analogmultiplexersordemultiplexerswithcommonselectlogic. Each multiplexer has four independentinputs/outputs (pins nY0 to nY3) and a common input/output (pin nZ). The common channel select logicsinclude two digital select inputs (pins S0 and S1) and anactiveLOWenableinput
(pinE).
WhenpinE=LOW,oneofthefourswitchesisselected(low-impedanceON-state)withpinsS0andS1.
WhenpinE=HIGH,allswitchesareinthehigh-impedanceOFF-state,independentofpinsS0and S1. VCC
 and GND are the supply voltage pins for the digitalcontrol inputs (pins S0, S1, andE). The VCC to GNDranges are 2.0 Vto10.0V for 74HC4052 and 4.5Vto5.5Vfor74HCT4052.Theanaloginputs/outputs(pins nY0 to nY3 and nZ) can swing between VCC as apositive limit and VEE as a negative limit. VCC?VEE maynot exceed 10.0V. Foroperationasadigitalmultiplexer/demultiplexer,VEEisconnected to GND (typically ground).
